Drawing 101

Introduction to basic skills of drawing through line, value, texture, positive-negative space, perspective, and work with
the figure while developing the ability to see and compose. Various media.

Figure Drawing
Portrays the human form through direct observation. Variety of materials and techniques used. Emphasis on proportion,
anatomy, volume, structure and dynamic expression.

2D Design & Color Theory
Develops working knowledge of the basic elements and principles of two-dimensional design and color theory through
exploration of creative problem solving, skill building and critical thinking projects in a variety of media.
